Microspectrofluorometer is another name for a microspectrophotometer specifically designed to measure fluorescence of microscopic samples. A CRAIC Technologies™ microspectrofluorometer is a purpose-built, integrated system that allows you to measure UV-visible-NIR range microspectra non-destructively and with little or no sample preparation. You can use them to MEASURE the UV-visible-NIR range fluorescence and luminescence of sample areas as small as one micron. They are also capable of non-destructive and non-contact transmittance, absorbance, reflectance, colorimetry and thin film thickness measurement. A CRAIC Technologies microspectrofluorometer has been used to measure everything from fibers found at crime scenes to the next generation of flat panel displays.
